Part of our define phase is the Gray-screen Prototyping process, also known as "wire framing". This visual guide is representation of its skeletal framework and a way to mimic the sites development by arranging elements without showing the client any branding etc. The objective here is to use shades of gray and not introduce brand colors at this stage; this way we keep our clients focused on the pages architectual elements. This process comes after the site map is developed and before the designing begins. This example shows what a "home page" would look like on a 960 grid before any content or branding is introduced.
